Queen Jadwiga Bridge is the oldest Bydgoszcz bridge made of reinforced concrete. It is the only city centre bridge not damaged during World War II. The bridge's name is also Jerzy Sulima-Kamiński's autobiographical book title. Thanks to the major overhaul in 2001 the bridge regained its former splendour.
