Dear Colleagues
It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the fourth edition of the nationwide conference devoted entirely to the issue of Respiratory Failure, which will take place on October 2–3, 2026, in Bydgoszcz.

In previous years, the event has brought together a large group of specialists and practitioners from various fields of medicine, which has reinforced our belief that there is a tremendous need to exchange knowledge and experiences in this area. Respiratory failure remains one of the key clinical challenges faced by physicians and other healthcare professionals—both in outpatient and inpatient care.

We plan to discuss the most important issues and to reconcile the presentation of the latest medical knowledge with its practical, everyday clinical application. We do not shy away from difficult issues related to the treatment of our patients. We emphasize the interactive nature of the event and the important role of discussion and debate.

The conference program will include lectures, thematic sessions, panel discussions, and hands-on workshops, during which participants will have the opportunity to learn about various techniques for the diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of respiratory failure. We will also showcase modern physical therapy tools that support the treatment of respiratory failure. The combination of expertise in using medical equipment and the experience of a clinical expert will ensure that you gain a comprehensive understanding of the discussed techniques in all their practical aspects. There will also be a review of the literature from the past year and presentations of clinical cases submitted by conference participants.

We want this event to serve as a platform for integrating knowledge and practice among specialists in pulmonary diseases, anesthesiology and intensive care, emergency medicine, cardiology, neurology, and family medicine, as well as nurses, paramedics, and physical therapists.

Our ambition is to create an event that is not only substantive but also open to dialogue and the exchange of practical experiences. We believe that this year’s fourth edition of the Respiratory Failure Conference will provide you with inspiring encounters, new knowledge, and skills that you can apply in your daily work with patients.
