“Bydgoszcz Beyond the Frame” — Mikołaj Buzała | guided walking tour | FONOMO

Date: October 17, 2026
Time: 12:00 p.m.
Meeting place: Velvet Artcafe, Gdańska 25, Bydgoszcz

“Bydgoszcz Beyond the Frame” is a walk through the city as seen through film and music—off the beaten tourist path. The route will take you to places where movies were filmed, concerts were held, bands were formed, events were organized, and the local scene was built. You’ll see iconic spots, but also places that are just ordinary parts of the city to some, yet important landmarks of Bydgoszcz’s pop culture to others.

Instead of the usual must-see landmarks and classic city history, participants will hear stories about cinema, clubs, music videos, the alternative scene, and spaces associated with musicians, filmmakers, and artists who often operate outside the mainstream.

The walk will be led by Mikołaj Buzała—a Bydgoszcz native, tour guide, and creator of the Nieciekawe project. In his tours, he combines the history of places with residents’ stories, anecdotes, and less obvious themes, seeking out stories embedded in people’s memories and in the spaces we pass by every day.

Participation is free.
