Imagine that the government asks you what you’ll do when a disaster strikes. And then imagine that the greatest disaster happened much earlier—at the family dinner table.

In Ivor Martinić’s drama, a single question on a form prepared for a crisis is enough to set off an avalanche of memories, grievances, and things left unsaid. The characters return to the same gestures, the same stories, and the same family roles, as if repeating them could stop the collapse of the world they’ve been building for years.

Viktoria Dulak’s production does not seek to assign blame or find simple answers. Rather, it asks about the price of security and why we so often prefer to believe that we had no choice. Because perhaps true freedom begins only when we stop telling our own lives as stories of other people’s decisions. And the greatest courage is not preparing for a catastrophe, but taking responsibility for what happened long before it struck.
