The Brda Cup Grand Rowing Regatta is one of the most prestigious and spectacular rowing events in Poland, held annually in Bydgoszcz.

The event was modeled after the famous British university rowing match between Oxford and Cambridge. It was conceived by sports journalist Zbigniew Urbanyi

The first edition took place in 1992. For years, the program has featured not only competitions between Polish crews but also those from abroad, as well as thrilling races between invited university crews from Oxford and Cambridge.

Location: the Brda River, finish line at Rybi Rynek
