To celebrate Halloween, Helios’ Night Movie Marathons present you with a hellishly scary dilemma. Choose from two nights, each featuring two sets of movies—including a total of 8 terrifying horror films! Which set will you dare to watch? On Friday, October 30, and/or Saturday, October 31, marathon-goers can choose from films specially selected for this occasion. In the first set, we’ll be showing four premiere films whose sole purpose is… to scare the living daylights out of you! We’ll kick things off with the premiere of “CLAYFACE,” followed by a pre-release screening of the excellent “ÒPI,” and then it gets even scarier. Next up is the pre-release screening of “DZIEDZICTWO KRWI,” and finally, “THE MORTUARY ASSISTANT,” based on the cult video game. The second set is a real treat for horror fans. Four horror films, starting with “ANOTHER MOM” by James Wan, the horror visionary behind the “Saw” and “The Conjuring” franchises. Next up is “OBSESSION,” which we consider one of the most intriguing horror films of recent years, and after a short break, two installments of the series—“THE BLACK PHONE” and “THE BLACK PHONE 2.” One thing is certain: this dose of fear will keep you awake long after you get home. You’ll have to decide for yourselves which set you’re brave enough to watch. Or maybe you’re ready for both?
