For many of us, family and the traditions passed down within it are the most important things. That is why we cherish and preserve mementos of our ancestors, archive documents, or write down the stories of our family elders. Sometimes we want to learn more about our family and its origins, but there is no one left to ask. That’s when genealogical research comes to our aid. The widespread digitization of many archival and library resources allows us today to conduct our own family history research. All it takes is knowing how to use the available tools effectively.

With the needs of those searching for their family roots in mind, we invite you to our genealogy workshops. The program will consist of four sessions with our historian, who will introduce you to the secrets of genealogical research. Participants will gain basic knowledge on how to document and reconstruct their family history, learn how to use library resources and digital archives, and discover the secrets of working with historical sources.

Led by: Adam Szefer

The series of sessions is scheduled for four consecutive Wednesdays:
November 18, 2026
November 25, 2026
December 2, 2026
December 9, 2026

Each session begins at 5:30 p.m. and lasts 120–150 minutes.

Participation in the workshops costs 150 PLN per person (a single fee for all 4 sessions); there are 10 spots available.

We do not accept individual registrations. To participate in the sessions, you must purchase a ticket on biletyna.pl
