Main Building, 4 Gdańska Street

Wednesday, November 18, 12:00 p.m.

One room, two exhibitions, both centered on the figure of Leonard Pietraszak. Each one tells his story from a different perspective. The first through the story of his life and career; the second through the art he selected, collected, and ultimately decided to share with his hometown over the years. Their presentation in 2026 takes on special significance, as Bydgoszcz is celebrating the Year of Leonard Pietraszak. During the curator-led tour, Dr. Monika Kosteczko-Grajek and Dr. Anna Nadolska will discuss the most significant objects and their importance in the story of the famous actor and collector. This curatorial perspective will reveal the less obvious stories and connections linking the displayed memorabilia, works of art, and his ties to his hometown.

Curators: Dr. Anna Nadolska from the MOB History Department and Dr. Monika Kosteczko-Grajek from the MOB Art Department

Admission: 22 PLN/person (regular ticket), 17 PLN/person (reduced-price ticket); tickets available at the box office and on the Museum’s website
