Performers:
Capella Bydgostiensis Chamber Orchestra
Raoul Grüneis, conductor
Finn Wiesner, saxophone

Program:
B. Bartók – Divertimento
S. Getz/E. Sauter – Focus

Two musical worlds will come together in a single evening. Capella Bydgostiensis, conducted by Raoul Grüneis, will present Béla Bartók’s Divertimento—a work for string orchestra full of energy and striking contrasts, composed in 1939.

The second part of the program will feature *Focus*—an extraordinary suite by Eddie Sauter, written for the legendary saxophonist Stan Getz. The composition combines a precisely notated string part with the freedom of jazz improvisation, taking listeners to the borderland between classical music and jazz.

Saxophonist Finn Wiesner will perform as the soloist.
