Animrocznie—a series of short films with a Halloween theme—returns in a new format: a dialogue between the two curators of a single selection.

Tosia and Weronika were searching for answers to many questions that had been troubling them. As always, they found them in animation. Unfortunately, this time, during their conversation, darkness, strange events, and unsettling plot twists began to spiral out of control.

If, like them, you find yourself wondering while brushing your teeth in the morning: Can modeling clay cause pain and terror? What can insomnia lead to? Is a wolf in the woods really the worst thing that can happen to Grandma? What does the soul do when the body dies? What secrets does a remote emu farm hide? Why shouldn’t children watch commercials? And what’s a night shift at a gas station really like?

This screening is for you.
