This time, linguist Dr. Iwona Benenowska, Ph.D., a professor at the Kazimierz Wielki University (UKW), whose research focuses primarily on axio-linguistics, language ethics, verbal aggression, and so-called hate speech, will address a very important and highly topical topic: “From Words to Deeds—Hate Speech as a Linguistic and Social Phenomenon.”

The presentation, combined with a very interesting presentation and a discussion with participants, will combine a linguistic analysis of hate speech with an examination of the destructive effects of this phenomenon and ways to deal with hate, hate speech, stigmatization, and “pathostreaming.”

The event is aimed at students in the upper grades of elementary school and secondary school. We invite Polish language teachers, homeroom teachers, and school counselors.

Detailed information and participation requirements are available at the Youth Palace office
