An exhibition of works by Bożenna Biskupska, who gained international recognition after representing Poland at the 41st Venice Biennale in 1984. Bringing together works created over the course of more than fifty years, the exhibition presents the artist’s oeuvre not as a collection of separate series, but as a single, continuous artistic process unfolding over time.

The artist will guide the audience through the exhibition “Time Is Being, Being Is Time. Inner Time and the Art of Bożenna Biskupska,” introducing visitors to the works on display at Młyny Rothera and two other exhibition spaces in Bydgoszcz: Galeria Współczesna and MÓZG. During the tour, the artist will also share her reflections on her own artistic practice. The event is open to everyone, with a special invitation extended to art collectors.

The exhibition is organized by the Mózg Foundation in collaboration with the In Situ Contemporary Art Foundation—International Culture Laboratory in Sokołowsko—and Rother’s Mills. The project will be one of the most significant presentations of contemporary Polish art ever held in Bydgoszcz.
