680 years of history packed into a single walk.

This year, Bydgoszcz is celebrating a special anniversary—the 680th anniversary of being granted city rights. It’s a perfect opportunity to learn about the city’s history from its very beginnings to the present day.

During the walk, we’ll explore the most important events that shaped Bydgoszcz. We’ll go back to the Middle Ages, discover how the city developed over the centuries, and learn about its greatest successes, difficult moments, and the people who have left their mark on local history.

This walking tour is designed both for those who are just beginning to explore Bydgoszcz and for residents who want to see their city from a new, more informed perspective. No matter how much you already know about Bydgoszcz, you’re sure to find stories here that will surprise you.

The walk will be led by Mikołaj Buzała—a certified Bydgoszcz tour guide and the creator of the “Nieciekawe” profile—who shares the city’s history in an accessible and engaging way.

See you on the walk!
