Polish Association of the Blind – Józef Buczkowski “Homer” Rehabilitation and Training Center

The HOMER Rehabilitation and Training Center is located in the center of Bydgoszcz, along the main north-south and east-west routes, making it an excellent starting point or a place to rest along the way. Homer is very well connected; it is located near the university hospital and the Bydgoszcz Leśna and Bydgoszcz Główna train stations. From here, it is very easy to reach the very center of the city. The center offers a large, free parking lot for its guests. The center also houses a world-renowned rehabilitation clinic with innovative equipment.

The center belongs to the Polish Association of the Blind—a public benefit organization. The facility offers 70 beds in double and triple rooms. The center features:

- 2 conference rooms that can be combined (to accommodate 70 and 30 people),

- a dining hall serving meals prepared on-site,

- a full-size gym,

- a fitness room, a playroom, a computer lab, and an optometry office.

- a library for the visually impaired,

- teaching rooms (communication techniques, daily living skills, Braille, art therapy)

All rooms are equipped with televisions and electric kettles. The facility offers rooms in the following categories: superior, standard, and economy. The facility is equipped with elevators, and some rooms are wheelchair-accessible. All rooms have private bathrooms, and free Wi-Fi is available throughout the facility.
