The Lawyers’ Professional Development Committee at the Bydgoszcz District Bar Association cordially invites you to a meeting on computer forensics, data recovery, and cybersecurity—topics that are essential in everyday legal practice.

October 9, 2026 (Friday)

2:00 p.m.

Lawyers’ Club, 5 Nowy Rynek St., Bydgoszcz

Our guest will be Marcin Ornowski—a specialist with many years of experience in the IT industry, an enthusiast of computer forensics and data recovery, and the owner of InDataRec. His professional experience also includes working in the security department at ATOS and serving as Cyberdefense Lead at DnB Bank.

During the meeting, we’ll discuss, among other things:

what the work of a computer forensics specialist looks like “behind the scenes”;

What user errors most often lead to data loss;

What are the options for recovering data from damaged storage media?

What digital threats affect businesses and individuals, and how do they impact the security of a law firm’s operations?

This will be an opportunity to learn about the practical aspects of data protection and recovery, ask questions of an expert, and share experiences.

I cordially invite you to participate!
