This formally original drama portrays Bimbo as a martyr and messiah of late capitalism, sacrificing her on the altar of a system built upon the Father (attention), the Son (desire), and the Holy Spirit (visibility). Written almost entirely in capital letters, Martta Mercedes Jylhä’s play delves into the hyper-feminine stereotype of the “bimbo” and performs a literary autopsy on it.
