"Connections" is a series of popular science events for adults, during which we explore the connections between different areas of life together with invited guests. We look for connections, discover new perspectives, and explore what science can tell us about our everyday choices.

During our next meeting, held in the “science café” format—a casual conversation with experts in an atmosphere conducive to the exchange of ideas—we’ll discuss what happens after death.

Throughout our lives, our bodies are built from matter taken from the outside world. After death, this intricately crafted structure begins to “fall apart,” and its components gradually return to nature’s cycle. How does this happen? Who starts this process, and what happens next?

During the event, we’ll examine death as a moment of transition from one form of life to another. We’ll discuss how nature reclaims everything it once “lent” to us.
