Sound Test 2026!

For the third time, we invite the residents of Bydgoszcz to join us in celebrating International Music Day—not as a one-day event, but as a month-long celebration of sound, rhythm, and artistic diversity. From September 15 to October 21, the entire city will be filled with music, including in clubs, cultural institutions, galleries, and outdoor venues.

To celebrate International Music Day, Opera Nova in Bydgoszcz is opening its doors for the third time to the fascinating world of musical theater as part of the “Sound Check” event.

The day before the dress rehearsal of an excerpt from its latest premiere production—the musical “Peter Pan and Wanda”—100 people will have the unique opportunity to get a glimpse of the artists’ work on the main stage. During “Sound Check vol. 3” at Opera Nova, you’ll take a seat in the audience to observe—in a truly pre-premiere atmosphere—the collaboration between director Agnieszka Płoszajska, the production team, the orchestra, soloists, the choir, the ballet, and the child actors.

This premiere performance, featuring original music by Szymon Godziemba-Trytek, impressive set design by Mariusz Napierała, and spectacular choreography by Paulina Andrzejewska-Damięcka is not only an original blend of classical art and entertainment, but above all a thoughtful story about growing up, responsibility, and the power of imagination.

“Sound Check Vol. 3” at Opera Nova is a unique opportunity to experience live theater and art in its most authentic, behind-the-scenes moment—right where the magic of Neverland is just taking shape!

Admission is free upon presentation of tickets. A total of 100 tickets will be available starting October 5 at 8:30 a.m. for pickup at the Opera Nova box office. Each person may receive a maximum of two tickets.
