This is the 6th edition of the Zbigniew Wodecki Vocal Competition “Sobą być”!

On November 28, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., the Municipal Cultural Center in Bydgoszcz will host the final concert featuring 10 finalists and last year’s winner, Aleksandra Tocka, who will be accompanied by a band led by Piotr Dąbrowski!

The jury will consist of:
Aga Zaryan
Zbigniew Zamachowski
Katarzyna Matuszak
Kamil Pater

The competition finale isn’t just about talented young vocalists reinterpreting unforgettable songs from Zbigniew Wodecki’s repertoire—it’s also a concert that will touch hearts. “THE GREAT ABSENT ONES” is a fresh take on the work of Zbigniew Wodecki, Czesław Niemen, Andrzej Zaucha, and Marek Grechuta. It’s a unique journey through time, full of emotion, history, and respect for those

who laid the foundations of the Polish music scene. Thanks to his extraordinary interpretation, sensitivity, and stage artistry, Tadeusz Seibert is able to breathe new life into these songs without losing their authentic spirit!

Performers:
